A Long Journey to Pennsylvania

i actually love the name of cities or countries. So this is my first poem which mentions a city as its background. i also published this poem in my facebook account.

A Long Journey to Pennsylvania

The yellow bus has come
But I am still standing near a pole
Waiting for certainty
Waiting for the direction of destiny
So that I can leave this role
I said, “I’ll be back, when I get some”
And everybody’s standing in silence

The door has opened
I enter the path while saying goodbye to randomness
The old story will be ended
Yet, I’m not ready for the new story
Then I sit in the corner
Talking to myself about the hidden happiness
A long journey will be started

I open the window
Hope the wind eases the pain
And the sound of crowded erases the shadow
The shadow of emptiness that I’d left behind
The coldness creeps through the rain
It will be a long journey I say to myself again

Strangers come and go
The bus is getting faster
I see a big tree near the church
Its leaves has turned into yellow
And I vaguely look the path i can’t follow
